Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who takes on Z-grade movies usually that are in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as a morbid enjoyment of them. She began her reviews at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. Her site remained up through the beginning of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned to Movie Nights. Presently, she hosts two podcasts. One covering the Charmed series and the second one hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Watch her YouTube videos here as well as here. There are also her videos on Twitter as well as Tumblr. Do you want to be as good as Allison? Ninja the Mission Force features Allison as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! as well as appearing in his show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live programs and occasionally an adult-oriented comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). In 2009, after reviewing films her name was a hit on Channel Awesome's forums. Before joining the official family of Channel Awesome reviewers, she was a household name. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as and Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many shows from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of the Channel Awesome family with Doug Walker.
